This four string bass guitar is very light and the neck is thick, similar to Gibson guitars and basses. The bass' high registers are crystal clear, especially when slapped or popped, and retain their bass-like characteristics at the higher frets (unlike many other bass guitars, which sound more guitar-like at their higher frets). The bass truly shines at its low end, producing deep, boomy low tones that possess huge amounts of definition. A particularly excellent bass for anyone with large hands.
