"Ozymandias" 6 String Bass
This 6-string bass was designed to be very lightweight and easy to play, for someone who normally only plays 5-strings. The neck is only 2" wide at the nut, which is very narrow for most 6-strings basses. The bridge spacing is also a narrow 0.64", and the neck was carved very thin to maximize comfort. The bass also features a reverse-inline headstock, and the strings can be strung through the body's edge. These features "lengthen" the lower strings in an effort to give the low B and E strings a tighter feel, compensating for the shorter scale length of only 33.5".
